It's been a very quiet week for Batman related news. Lots of small announcements, but no major developments on either of the two movies in production, and no comics related press activity either. Having said that there is still a fair amount to read. So enjoy this week's issue of GWN.

BAT SUMMIT NEXT WEEK
It appears that the upcoming week has been set aside for DC's regular "Bat Summit" when all creative teams from all the various Batman family titles get together for three days of brian storming and throwing around story ideas. The last notable event to come out of one of these sessions was the "Bruce Wayne: Murderer / Fugitive" storyline. So what can we expect from this one...?

Peter Williams and Peter Wingfield, have joined the cast of CATWOMAN in the past week. No news as to what parts they are playing in the movie.Las Vegas Comic Con - October 31st to Nov 2nd.
The first major Comic Con to be held in Las Vegas is generating a lot of buzz. Among the featured guests are BRIAN AZZARELLO, DARWYN COOKE, RICK HOBERG, JAMES PASCOE and BILL WILLINGHAM.
COMICS FESTIVAL - London, England - Nov 1st
The major UK Comics Festival expands this year with a Fall show in London. Confirmed guests include: JOHN BOLTON, MIKE COLLINS, DAN DiDIO, JAMES HODGKINS and BARRY KITSON.
Collect-O-Con, Orlando FL. Nov 1st & 2nd.
This major show for pop-culture collectors has a "Hulk vs Batman" theme with appearences by ADAM WEST, YVONNE CRAIG and the 1960s TV show BATMOBILE
