NEW FACES IN BATMAN?
Since joing the cast of the upcoming Batman movie, Sir Michael Caine has been sharing his enthusiasm for the project, and in several recent interviews has let slip a few nuggets of information about the project which you can read in the Movie News section below. One interesting piece of information was that director Christopher Nolan is seriously considering casting Viggo Mortensen , possibly in the much rumored Ra's Al Ghul role.
Other casting news this week seems to confirm that Katie Holmes has landed the role of Bruce Wayne's love interest, "Rachel." While Cillian Murphy (who tested for the Batman role) may have been signed on to play The Scarecrow, or possibly a young Harvey Dent.
Late News - according to an article in Thursday's Wall Street Journal, a new Batman animated series is scheduled to premiere on Kids WB in the Fall of 2004, as the first project in a new joint cooperation between the Kids WB and Cartoon Network in which CN will air the series 6 months after its debut on the WB network.
As always have a great week. - Alan J. Porter
