NO NEW BATMAN FAN FILMS AT COMIC-CON
In a change of policy, following a request from Warner Bros., no fan-films depicting characters owned by Warner Bros. / DC Comics will be shown at the 2004 Comic-Con International in San Diego this month.
There is a feeling that the "buzz" generated by movies such as last year's acclaimed BATMAN: DEAD-END will detract from the official promotional activity around Catwoman, Batman Begins and Smallville that WB has planned for the show.
Among the fan films originally scheduled for this year's event, and now withdrawn were Batman: Madness and World's Finest: Batman / Superman. You can read the full story at Comics2Film here.
