My shadow is my soul;
a window to another dimension.

It hides my secrets and my sorrows;
my hopes and dreams..

It shows the side of me
no one sees;
my  inner  being.

Me fear and all my pride,
hidden within it's depths.

On the other side lies me.
My world and life.

I can go there to find inner comfort,
away from real life, the real world
                                 comfortable
                                                   by
                                                          myself.

It'll match my mood.
                                 Sadness
                                               or
                                  Happiness.            

You can't always see it,
but it's always there.   
                                      Invisible,
                                                      yet a dull gray fortress.

It's a part of me that will stay here after I'm gone.
Unending.
Immortal.
