Silent Vigil
Watching you while you sleep.
Everything revealed.
Silent vigil keep.
Inward thoughts are sealed.
Soft lights caress your face.
A glow from up above.
My heart, your breath keep pace.
Wondering what you dream of.
All innocence and gentleness
Seen during your slumber
Calmed my inner restlessness.
My own eyes now asunder.
And so I close my soul
To the outside world.
My being becoming whole.
Peacefulness unfurled.
So we try to come together
In the eternal land of peace.
Searching for each other
Deep within our dreams.
