RUN REPORT

Run no 51 Midsummer Run

As usually the weather was good, dry and not to warm or cold. The circle was called and quickly the Hares, Dancing King and Hairy Nuts, explained the rules. A trail for Walkers and another for runners that connected in the end.

Three carriers (a record?) started the walking race and the virgin Susanne got help passing fallen trees over a false trail. She didn't listen good enough to the explanation of the run. No problem for a carrier. Happily they went on through the woods, arriving at the on-in just five minutes after the runners.

Also the runners went into to the woods but here it was more correct to climb over fallen trees to find the rigth way. Sometimes there wasn't even a trail and it was more climbing than running. Halfway to the first checkpont, FRB Shrimp Spew led the virgings off the trail and was called back from the On-On the "old timers", led by Jerk Off doing a hangover run, called out passing on correctly. Halfway in the run a Hash View stopped the pack but FRB virgin Skåne was missing as he became speed blind. The pack went on and soon a lost FRB was met and stayed with the pack for the rest of the run. Once again Shrimp Spew was totally lost as FRB at the last check. Even the walkers wondered what he was doing? On-On and soon On-In was heard in Puketorp.

The circle was called by GM Shrimp Spew and it started with a down-down with a schnapps for all as it's almost Midsummer. Among the punishment to mention was, Susanne, Stefan and Torbjörn for being virgins. The virgins will also never more take break for a leak. Total wanker got a down-down as she took up the tune for the down-down song but only knew one!

The circle ended and on we went for the grub. Herring, potatoes and more schnapps with many songs in good Midsummer spirit. Baby Embla was so impressed by the singing so she called out louder than all of us. As some was interested in football the telly went on and the party did too, even if the result went bad 1-2, Sweden-Spain.
