Brief History

I was 16 years old when I was first diagnosed with Meniere’s disease on January 11^th, 2001.  My symptoms first emerged in June of 2000 and became progressively worse.  While attending my sophomore year in high school my vertigo became so severe that I began missing classes, eventually resulting in  having to drop out of school in October of 2000.  Just prior to the onset of my symptoms, I had maintained a 4.0 grade point average at Stadium High School. 

My vertigo remained constant and debilitating until April of 2001.  During the following 5 months, I only suffered occasional dizziness/vertigo.  The vertigo came back in September of 2001.  Like it had the time before, it got progressively worse and has led to me being disabled yet again.
