Okay, basic info first. Yuki Sohma is softspoken, well-mannered and intelligent young man. He is very skilled at martial arts having been trained at a young age. His family has been cursed by the animals of the chinese zodiac for hundreds of years. The curse causes them to change into the animal that possess them when they're weak of health or touched by a person of the opposite sex outside of their family. Therefore since Yuki is possessed by the rat he changes into it. This only lasts for awhile and when they change back they... umm... lose their clothing. ^.^ See the pic below to see Tohru's reaction when she discovered this.

Yuki hates the curse. He always wanted to live a normal life which is why he left the Sohma estate. And yet he still feels he hasn't found it. His curse always forces him to keep away from people, not to mention he is always the brunt of the Sohma clan head's manipulations. This is why he reacts violently to Kyo's challenges. He can't understand someone wanting to be part of the zodiac when he hates it himself.

Yuki is an introvert since he feels he can't blend in with people. He secretly wonders how Kyo can do it so easily, sadly admitting he can never be that way. However when Tohru starts so live with them, Yuki slowly opens up and begins to show us a side of him he has kept well hidden. He is kind, soft-hearted and gentle. Yuki holds inside of him a deep sense of sadness and longing for the normal life that still eludes him. With Tohru he seems to find a semblance of normality. Her wamth and innocence is endearing to him. He expresses his trust in her by showing his special place, a small vegetable garden. For once Yuki has found a true friend who acceps him for what he is, secrets and all.

I've only seen four episodes of the series and some information online, believe it or not. =P I have yet more to discover about this bishounen so if you have any information please send them over! I'm always happy to learn more about him. ^_^
