Visitor Visa Requirements

1. You have to give one application seeking visa request to the concerned US consulate.
   Find the format at the end.
2. You have to get one "CREDIT OF BALANCES STATEMENT" from your bank in US for your savings account, which will state your current balance in the savings account, average balance and date opened in the US bank. In this account you must have atleast $8000.00 - $10000.00 on your credit to support two people. For a single person you need to have $5000.00 atleast.This is your savings account not checking or maximizer. There is no problem if you have more balance. But it should be appropriate to your stay in US.
3. You have to get one letter from your employer stating your designation and annual salary.
4. You have get one certificate of AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT (Form I - 134) (If you can't find there Click Here to download. signed by notary magistrate. Which ensures that all the responsibilities of your visitor will be taken by you. Notary Magistrates in California charges $10.00 to sign it. For both of your parents fill only one single form. (You need to take a photo ID with you when you go to Notary. Notarys can be found in "mailboxes etc". in shopping malls.)
5. Other than this you may furnish (NOT mandatory but will be good)
   1. Few pages of your passport and visa (photocopies)
   2. Your H-1 Photocopy
   3. Proof of Address : Give them your first and latest telephone bills or the first and latest bank statements (photocopies will suffice). If you dont have the first statements, send them the oldest statements available with you.

I would like to invite my parent(s) ( Mr. YOUR FATHER NAME and Mrs. YOUR MOTHERS NAME) to visit us during the month of MONTH, YEAR. My mother is a home maker and my father is a retired person from YOUR FATHER'S LAST DESIGNATION, EMPLOYER NAME. My parents would return to India after a short stay with us in United States Of America. They are propertied and have strong family ties with their other children in India. The purpose of the visit is to spend a few months with us.

I confirmed that I have sufficient funds in the United States to support my parents during their visit and also confirm that I will be bearing their boarding, lodging and travel expenses during their stay in the United States. An Affidavit of Support (form I-134) is enclosed in support of this letter

I request you to kindly consider them for a vistor visa to enable them to travel to the United States.
