Fontainebleau
Slow drizzle wash my heart
For it's time for some different thoughts
Napoleon, had to say good-bye
And when the tour ends so must I
A marathon of stares
Are swallowing my heart which flares
My lungs are gripped by invisible hands
My thoughts are caught by quicker sands
Hearing the Murmur of Song
But not the words for which I long
A simple hello how are you
To kindle the fire of a magic brew
I want to drink till dawn
Wake up on his chest and yawn
Feel warm flesh touch my cheek
My power to be alone rests meek
But no hello is ever said
I continue to wait and instead
A quick glance with nothing to say
walked out of my life that day
Oh rainy October so cruel
Punish me again in duel
Many times I have loved but Always
I have lost. Always you.
