Royal Flush
I'm a monet
a pillar of sand
a mountain of marbles
crush my
windsor at the beach
waves melt it down
eventually
the queen of England
isn't sitting too high
kick her head in
with one little word
a child in purple velvet
wanting more hugs
and only finding cold toys who
play with him
and giving more
and seeing more
and feeling more
than could be dreamed
so this nightmare lives
and breathes every day
stealing my wishes
and eating my passion
calling the police won't
stop the abuse, it's from
within
too much light
on a faded ruin
build build build
those black walls
of crystal
