Annual Gower Spring Festival

The Gower Elementary School PTA is busy planning their Annual Gower Spring Festival, to be held Saturday April 8th, 2000. The school will host a silent and a live auction, as well as free kids games and activities, educational exhibits and activities, bake sale and a cookout by Dale McWright. Event organizers are seeking tax deductible donations of items and services to be auctioned off in the silent and live auctions. Ruby Tuesday's Thursday Night Out -

Beginning March 2nd, 2000 the first Thursday of the month will be Gower's Night Out at the Ruby Tuesday's Restaurant in Bellevue Mall. For every group that goes to the restaurant that night and tells them that they are a part of Gower, the restaurant will give our school 100% of the proceeds! This is a very generous offer from Ruby Tuesday's and I hope a lot of families will take advantage of their generosity.

Kroger Receipts -

Please continue to save each and every Kroger receipt and turn them into your school's office. For your convenience, there is a mailbox along the car rider circle to deposit your receipts in. If you would like to volunteer to help count the receipts, call Angie Hinton at 662-1483.

Boxtops for Education -

General Mills will donate cash for each box top collected and turned in from our school. Collect the boxtops and turn them into the office for credit for our school. For your convenience, there is a mailbox along the car rider circle to deposit your boxtops.
