Have
you ever heard about virtual worlds? Three-dimensional environments
where you can be an avatar that can move around cool 3D objects, interacting
with them and with other avatars, chatting, playing games and lots of other
fun stuff... One of those places is Active Worlds. In this Universe there
are more than 800 worlds today with over 3000 users from all over the (real)
world. Some of them are verry big (Alpha World) and have many cities build
by users that become citizens of these worlds. Some of them are dedicated
to learning, gaming, shopping. In some of them you can speak their native
language like french, italian, spanish, german, russian...
Ati auzit vreodata despre lumi virtuale? Medii tridimensionale unde poti fi un personaj care se misca printre diverse obiecte tridimensionale grozave, interactionand cu ele si cu alte personaje, povestind, jucand jocuri si facand multe alte lucruri interesante. Unul din acele medii este Active Worlds. In acest univers sunt astazi mai mult de 800 de lumi, cu peste 3000 de utilizatori din toata lumea (reala). Unele sunt foarte mari (Alpha World) si au multe orase construite de catre utilizatorii care au devenit cetateni ai acestor lumi. Altele sunt dedicate invatarii, jocurilor, cumparaturilor. In unele puteti vorbi lor limba materna ca franceza, italiana, spaniola, germana, rusa...
Active Worlds Universe is like a Virtual Lego. Using predefined
modules the citizens of the worlds can build their own house, palace, garden,
city, even a whole world! With your pictures, music, sounds, bots (virtual
robots) that greet your visitors and give them a tour, you can build your
dreams true!

Folosind module predefinite, catatenii acestor lumi pot construi propria
casa, palat, gradina, oras si chiar o lume intreaga! Cu pozele, muzica,
sunetele tale, cu boti (roboti virtuali) care sa-ti intampine vizitatorii
si sa le faca un tur, poti sa-ti construiesti chiar cele mai frumoase vise!
To
enter this universe you will need to download a free browser from the official
AW web site. After installing
it you will enter as a tourist to see what you never saw before. Passing
from a world to another is made by teleporting. Pickup a world from the
list, click on it and you're there! If you need to go quikly to a special
spot, just enter the coordinates in the teleporting menu under the name
of the world. What do you think? Interesting, huh?
Pentru a intra in acest univers va trebui sa aduceti un browser special gratuit din pagina oficiala AW. Dupa instalare veti intra ca turisti pentru a vedea ce n-ati mai vazut vreodata. Trecerea dintr-o lume intr-alta se face prin "teleportare". Alegeti o lume din lista, dati click pe ea si aiti ajuns! daca aveti nevoie sa ajungeti rapid intr-un anume loc, introduceti doar coordonatele specifice in meniul de teleportare sub numele lumii respective. Ei, ce ziceti? Interesant, nu?
