Mariel came home as a tiny baby on 7/2/04 from a pet store where she was going to be sold as a feeder rat. She had a wonderful personality and loved to be held and played with. Her favorite thing to do was give kisses, and once she even groomed me with her teeth! She was very picky about foods and didn't like anything but her seed mix and apples, and wouldn't even nibble on her favorite goodies when she was outside her cage. She loved to run laps around her cage and climb and explore during her out-of-cage time. Unfortunately she passed away last summer from unknown causes and she is greatly missed.
