Pig of the Month

If you would like to have your piggie on Cavy Love's front page for a whole month*, you can enter his or her picture at cavylove@gmail.com. Please include your name and your piggie's name with your entry, along with a description of your piggie to be displayed on this page while he's pig of the month. We prefer bright, colorful, clear pictures of at least 200 pixels wide in JPEG or GIF format. If your picture doesn't win, please enter again for the next month's Pig of the Month competition as we do not save old entries. All winners, in addition to being on the front page for a month are displayed below permanently.

*Barring certain holidays, on which a holiday-themed picture may be displayed. The Pig of the Month will reappear after the holiday is over.

Maddy - POTM October 2008

Her name is Maddy (her full name is Madeline), I had recently bought her about 2 months ago at Petsmart. I felt like I needed her, because she was really shy, and was stuffed in a pigloo with 15 other Guinea Pigs! I brought her home with me, and later on, about a moth later, my sister got a guinea pig too! Her name is Annie. They are best friends, and live in a huge C&C cage. It took a lot of hard work and love, but now Maddy is getting over her shyness.
