Rosie was born on July 12th 2003 to Shakira. I kept her until she was about six weeks old and then rehomed her, since at the time I didn't have room to keep her - baby pictures of her with her sister can be viewed here. But just a couple years later, her owners decided they couldn't look after her any more with a baby on the way and she came back to live here on April 18th 2005. Initially she and Shakira had a little trouble getting used to each other again, but it wasn't long before they were fast friends once more.

Rosie passed away on May 27th 2008, hours after being diagnosed with cancer. She was cheerful and energetic right up until the end of her life, and I feel truly blessed to have enjoyed so many years with her.

The first 10 pictures were taken during her first stay here or while she was at her other home, and the rest were taken since she came back.
