We brought Sparkle home from the local shelter on 11/18/02. I wasn't too thrilled about it then because I had my heart set on a little sheltie/beagle puppy. But he charmed all of us with his sweet puppy personality and cute looks. He's grown into a wonderful, smart dog and loves to show off his tricks for cuddles and treats. He's very active and loves to run in the back field and jump up onto anything around four feet or smaller. He's a very good watchdog and always lets us know when there's someone walking by the house. He loves people and goes crazy when we get home or have company over. He's a great dog and I don't have any regrets now about getting him instead of that sheltie mix!
