This beautiful boy's name was Spencer, and he was a pet rat who came to live with us on the 1st of August, 2006. Although a bit shy, he had a very sweet personality and loved to snuggle down for a nap in the arms of those he knew and trusted. He was most confident and comfortable in his big homemade cage, and loved to rearrange the 'furniture' and make comfy little nests for he and his buddy Sherman to curl up together in. He also took it upon himself to be the official carrier of food from the bowl in the loft to his and Sherman's secret stash on the main floor of the cage. Yep, little Spence was quite a character, and we loved him very much for the two years he lived with us!
