The Compressor Component Raiders season didn't end the way one would have hoped, but the team came together as the season went on. From a coaches view this team is only going to get better. We only loose 6 players on a roster of 25 so our core will be back and they will be hungry to be back on top like they were in 2001. This year our scoring was spread around, we had Touchdowns from # 38 Daniel Hodges,
# 11 Mitchel Fulmek, # 80 Robert Laffoon, # 30 Colt Van Buskirk and
# 34 Chance Cobb. I see alot more scoring in the future for these players and others on the Raiders in the future.
Some may look at our record this year and think we had a bad season, but we didn't, we had a rebuilding season we have a very young team, who have nothing but time. The way I see it in the future is if ALL the players who can come back do and we get new players who will step in and contribute like the players did this year, the Raiders will be a contender for years to follow.
I would just like to add a thank you to all the Parents who helped out with the bottle drive, ran yardsticks and helped with the concession. Also another thanks to our sponsor Compressor Components.
