Reuben was born on 10 Februay 1769 in Hampton, Windham County, Connecticut... He died on 4 July 1837 in Carlton, Orleans County, New York, and was buried in the Fuller Cemetery in Carlton... In 1783, Reuben accompanied his father and brother John to Sheshequin, Bradord County, Pennsylvania, in the company of Gen. Spaulding... Like John, Reuben was a farmer as was most of his family... He married Mary CASH * on 23 May 1793, in Sheshequin... In 1794, Reuben partitioned for a road from Sheshequin to Rome... It was along the Susquahanna River that they lived until 1810 when they relocated with brother John and his family to Carlton Township, New York (Kuckville).

Mary "Polly" CASH *

Mary was born on 27 June 1775, in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut, daughter of (?) and Mary (Tracy) Cash... She died on 12 September 1849, in Carlton, Orleans County, New York, and is buried in the Fuller Cemetery in Carlton.
