These low-cost receivers were intended for PC users looking for interesting applications for their PCs, scanner enthusiasts and radio amateurs. It is increasingly found in many specialized professional applications as well.

The WiNRADiO WR-1000i hardware/software package consists of the receiver card, Windows-based software, a start-up antenna and a 150-page book which provides introduction to radio scanning, many interesting hints and frequency lists.

This ISA card is I/O based and does not require any IRQ's. No cables or power supplies needed - no clutter on your desk. Just plug in and scan!

The WR-1000e is perfect for those of you who want all of the features of the 1000i but need or prefer an external receiver. The specifications are identical to the internal receiver card however it is a compact external receiver unit. The units connects to your receiver via a RS-232 interface. (PCMCIA adaptor optional)

The WR-1000e hardware/software package consists of the receiver unit, Windows-based software, RS-232 cable, multi-voltage power adaptor, start-up antenna and a users manual.

With the The WiNRADiO WR-1000i/e you can:
Scan for exotic stations from far-away places
Eavesdrop on aircraft and maritime communications
 Intercept clandestine stations
 Monitor emergency services
Receive satellite and Space Shuttle signals
 Witness combat transmissions making history
WiNRADiO puts you back in charge over the information you receive - long before someone has sanitized it, decided it to be fit for your consumption, and put it on your local TV or FM radio news network. In today's fast-paced, action-packed world of radio communications, thousands of fascinating new situations are created every day, just waiting to be investigated.
FEATURES

The WR1000i ISA card plugs into the motherboard of an IBM-compatible PC. Up to eight cards can be controlled by one PC. There is a connector for the antenna and an external speaker.
The WR-1000e (external version) connects to your computer via an RS-232 interface
The software features numerous tuning and scanning options, virtually unlimited memories and a rich on-line help facility. Support is also provided for software developers wishing to write their own applications code for WiNRADiO
The WiNRADiO handbook provides an introduction to WiNRADiO and radio scanning, with a start-up list of interesting stations to try-even NASA space program frequencies! It also contains all the interfacing information needed by programmers to create their own WiNRADiO applications.
