We are pleased to announce the release of the AR 108, a palm sized scanner covering 108 to 180 Mhz. It gives the best possible receive sensitivity in the CIVIL AIRBAND.

The radio covers 108 - 180Mhz with the VFO covering this frequency in two bands. 108 - 136.975Mhz for the Civil Airband and 136 - 180Mhz for the rest of the VHF band. The frequency is changed by use of the up/down buttons on the selected digit.
It holds a 99 memory bank for each of these bands, which are set independantly. There are also facilities to lock in frequencies in the memories to pass on.

Memories: 198 - You can program each of these memory channels to store one frequency, 99 per band

Scan search speed - Scan = 10 channels per sec, Search = 25 steps per second
Dual watch - Keep track of activity on your most important channel while monitoring other transmissions
Memory Backup - Retains memories etc for more than 10 years without batteries. Uses eEprom device
Programmable Search - Allows you to set up the upper and lower limits of a specific frequency range for easier searching
Step Size - Adjust the step size from 5,10,12.5,15,25,30,50,KHz, 1MHz
Batteries - 2 x AA batteries cells<
Battery voltage indicator - with 4 grade steps and low battery warning
Beep tone on/off
