On Return to Tanjavura, Sri Raghavendra tiirtha meets an older disciple of Sudhindra Tiirtha. Yadhavendra tiirtha who had gone on a tour spreading the dvaita philosophy, returns on hearing that Sri Sudhindra Tiirtha had attained Brundavana. Initially, Yadhavendra was upset that the Peeta to serve Moola Rama was not given to him and it was handed over to Raghavendra tiirtha insted, he was upset due to this change. Hence, he was eager to meet the young saint and discuss further course of action. Sri Raghvendra tiirtha hears about his arrival and greets him with great respect, he also hands over the icons of the Samsthana Mutta and asks him to start worship them henceforth. On hearing Raghavendra tiirtha request, Yadhavendra sees the personality, greatness and simplicity. So for one day Yadhavendra tiirtha takes over the ownership and worships the Moola Rama icons. Then hands over it back to Sri Raghvendra tiirtha and continues his journey as before spreading dvaita philosophy.

Yadhavendra tiirtha wanted to know whether there was a befitting successor to the SriAnanda tiirtha's throne. Both Rahavendra and Yadavendra did not have any inclination to claim the post upon sanyasa, Such is the character of them; unfaltering in their duties. There onwards on the banks of Krishna near MoodaMala (today MudHuMalay) Yadhavendra tiirtha enters brundavana. Yadhavendra tiirtha had also taught LakshmiNatha tiirtha [1643-1663 of VyasaRaya Mutt.SrimadHbagavath Tippani and Nayamrutha Tippani and two of the works by Yadhavendraru. People thought that there will be a huge dispute, but with the grace of SriHari, both had steadfast devotion and sacrifice, either of them wanted to hold on to the post. This is the greatness they had achieved at such an early age. Sri Raghavendra tiirtha continues his works in KumbhaKona where Sri Vijayeendra and Sudheendra tiirtha had done tremendous amount of work. He taught to miltitude of disciples and wrote his own commenteries and notes on several works of SriAnanda Tiirtha and Jaya tiirtha.

Tanjavor and near by states enters into a 12 year famine:-

As time passes, an new danger appears to the state, Famine. The entire state goes in to famine, the royal grain strage begins to dwindle, Rahghav Nayaka [1633-1672] who was the king during that period tries all kinds of methods to restore dry lands and was unsuccessful. So finally he resorts to Sri Raghavendra tiirtha, he had heard the great powers of Sri Sudhindra tiirtha. He describes the situation and begs for a soulution. At that point, Sri Raghavendra tiirtha takes pity and suggests him of performing Yaga's and homa's continiously. During the entire period of famine, Raghavendra tiirtha takes the initative to do charity and food is distributed daily to all those who needed. Finally, rain lashes and quenches the dried ground ending the famine, with joy King gives huge amount of precious stones, jewels and a rare necklace. Upon receiving it Raghavendra tiirtha puts it right in to the sacrificial fire. King felt insulted and without thinking he scorns Raghavendra tiirtha for doing so in front of all the people who had precided. But later Raghavendra tiirtha tells him that just gave it where it belonged, if that's not acceptable then you can take it back, saying so, he stretches out his hand into the fire and retreives the necklace, surprised and sorry, king feels ashamed asks for forgiveness.
Journey to spread dviata philosophy begins:-
Then onwards, Sri Raghvendra tiirtha begins a long journey spanning the length and breadth of the country to spread the philosophy and enters in to numerous debates. So begins his victory journey Madhurai, Dupura, Sri Ranga, ManiShurnga,ManaShaila, Anantha Shayana are few places notable. During the whole period he starts writing commentries and notes on various works of Sri Ananda tiirtha, Jaya tiirtha. Debates numeours scholars and one such famous is Neelakanta Dikshit, Raghavendra tiirtha defeates him. Neelakanta dikshit was famous during that time for Advaita philosophy and his fame in PoorvaMimamsa was noted. Raghavendra tiirtha defeated him in that debate, without refering to any books Sri Raghavendra tiirtha's knowledge was like a river in spate. The entire community of scholars tested him with each Sutra (Stanza). Finally, Raghavendra tiirtha reveals his latest work "Bhata SangraHa". JaiMini had written Karma Mimamsa, which is 12 chapters, and 2744 stanza's. During that period a work called Shabri by Kumarila bhatta had written commentry and was very famous. But Raghavendra's work exceeded the requirements, correct explaination and commentries in a simple language. Seeing this Neelakanta Dikshit was overwhelmed and surrenders his titles to Raghvaendra tiirtha. Later on a procession is conducted with Raghavendra works mounted on an elephant and taken around the entire city, an ritual usually performed in those days to signify the victory. King with the permission of Dikshit takes charge and performs the rare cermony.
Sri Ranga a Special place:-
Moving further, Raghavendra tiirtha arrives at SriRanga a famous place where RangaNatha swamy resides. He decides to stay in this place for an extended time. Here Sri Jaya tiirtha stayed and defeated Advaita scholars, Famous dvaita saints Vyasa tiirtha, SriPadha rayaru and Sri swarnavarna tiirtharu (whose Moola Brindavan his here) had visited and stayed in this place for a good amount of time spreading works of Sri Ananda tiirtha. Here as like any other day discourses was given on various Upanishad's. Here Raghavendra tiirtha composes "IshaVashya Upanishad MantrArtha SangraHa" which comprises of all commentaries and Teeka (notes). Similarly Raghavendra writes commentries, for Talvakara, kataka, ShatprashnE, BhruhadAranya and chandogya. Finally, after a long time Raghavendra tiirtha decides to move on and reaches NaMaKallu.

Moving on Further:-

Here he worships Sri NarshimaDevaru icon, then he moves on to BallaPuri (todays Vellore) here he defeats veerabadra and Bhirabhatta two Shivats. Moving on he goes to various places and arrives at VishnuMangala, this is the place where Sri Ananda tiirtha defeates Sri Trivikrama Pandit in an historical debate. He also visits "KavE mutt" and the residence where once Sri Trivikrama Pandit resided. From there on he visits Subhramanya Mutt where famous "Samputa Narshima" is the deity worshiped, this was worshiped by Sri Vishnu Tiirtha, younger brother of Sri Ananda tiirtha. From there he moves on visits Udupi, Pajaka, Vimanagiri etc., during that period in Udupi, Sri Raghvendra tiirtha starts teaching TatHParya Chandrika also known as chandrika written by Sri Vyasa tiirtha (himself in in previous life). Here he completes 10 times Mangala for Chandrika. Here Raghavendra tiirtha composes the only single kannada Kruthi "Indu Yenage Govinda ...". There onwards he visits Pandrapura, on the way he visits BidruHalli famous village where Sri sreenivasAcharya lived here, SreenivasAcharaya was the disciple of YadhuPathyAchar. Here Sreenivasa acharaya Welcomes Raghavendra tiirtha with great respect and happiness. He stays for few days, during that period reviews all the works by acharaya and is very pleased with his ardent devotion and scholarship. Raghavendra tiirtha awards him as Srinivasa tiirtha, who is famous to this day as BidruHalli SreenivasTiirtha. This is a special benediction upon him for SreenivasAchaya was a GruHastha (married man), tiirtha signifies a monk.

PandraPura the famous Kshetra for Icon Panduranga Vittala is located on the banks of river Bheema. Here in future Dasa's like Purandara, Vijayadasaru, Jaganath dasaru has their ankitha (ending their songs with the name of god) as Vittala. From there on he visits Kollapura which is famous Lotus, here he worships Lakshmi, here every lake is filled with lotus and PadMaPriya Lakshmi bless Sri Raghavendra with lots of wealth in the form of Knowldege and takes care of the material needs during that period. There on he visits Bijapur, latter arrives at the banks of river Godavari, this is the place where Sri Ananda tiirtha begins his journey for writing his works namely Bhrama Sutra Bhashya.
