Ugha Bogha's are short compositions by our great HariDasa's, they went around their cities and villages by singing and praising Sri Hari (collecting BiKsha from only 7 houses for a day) in the form of songs (Kruthi's) and Ugha Bogha's and Suladi's. Much of the Ughaboghas are attributed to Purandara Dasaru, Sripada Rajaru, VadhiRajaru, Vijaya Dasaru, Gopala Dasaru.
They were very effective means of sending the message to the to the common in a few words, by their grace I have captured a few of them and reproduced here, there is no English translation, because of the fact that it will lose the essence and meaning of the words. So they are as they were composed (ie in Kannada).
