Gram's journal continues with a short explaination of the groupsactivities up until they left Travar for Krattus. Some of the group needed to train and spend some time on their own. Gram learned much from his clone of the priest, including the name of the minion of 'the screaming god', 'Har Garal'. In addition, Gram learned of a method by which one could bind the spirit of Har Garal to it's current body and thus he could be destroyed. Gram and Angahren learn everything they can from the copy, and in two months of working with them, the clone looses all it's powers. After that, Gram and Angahren had become Nethermancers with training from the clone, in addition to Gram gaininga circle in wizardry from the clone.

The group learned that the creature 'Har Garal' had taken the body of one Brother B. (as Gram remembers not much about him).

This brother had taken up a group of followers, and got on a ship bound for the upper rivers near Krattus. The group chartered a T'Skrang boat and left for Krattus.

On the way to Krattus, while still on the boat, the boat was attacked by another boat. The 'Knights' helped out and in the end, won the day - here is an exsurpt from the journal about this:

The alarm rang out across the boat as one T'Skrang sailor after
another jumped to the edge to see what was coming down the river
toward us.  It was another boat, smaller, but sleaker and 
quicker.  The captain gave the signal to start the attack, and 
the elementalist's guns started firing.  There was a 
Nethermancer on the bow of the other boat, and he cast 
darkness on the forward guns on our ship.  The T'Skrang manning
the forward gun were dumbfounded and unable to move well in the 
darkness.  Some of them fell overboard, unable to see past their
eyes.  Angahren and myself, being Nethermancers, could see
through the darkness, and he leaped for the other boat and 
began attacking the Nethermancer on board.  At the same time,
attackers from the water jumped on board and started attacking
the sailors and us.  I dispelled the darkness on the forward 
guns and threw my own darkness spell on the attackers front
guns.  Odan and Cyrix had also gone over to the attacking ship.
Odan headed for the wheelhouse, and Cyrix headed for the power
room.  After gaining access to the wheelhouse, Odan proceeded to 
seal home on the little building, and turned the wheel toward 
the rocky bank of the river.  Cyrix was not quite as lucky with
his quarry.  The door to the power room must have been trapped,
because the second he opened it, an explosion blew him up and 
over the railing to the water below.
After the little battle was over, Odan was seremoniously given
the name 'Odan Wheeltaker'.  The 'Knights' were given full
complements of their abilities, and help.
Upon reaching the port of which the group would head inland to Krattus, the 'Knights' heard that a group of The Grim Legion might be in the area. Odan found out where The Grim Legion were supposedly holding recruitment interviews. The 'Knights' found a small pub back room where this recruitment was being held. In the back room, the 'man' overseeing the recruitment was found out to be Brother B. But before the group found out, it was found out that this Brother B. had already done something akin to a horror-mark on Zandimar. Zandimar is dazed, and when the group confronts Brother B., he gestures with his hand and splits the leader of the group in half. This other group turns out to be a group that came up from Krattus to see what was going on. Brother B. Then he gestures again, and the air turns to something like thick lava, although not hot. Then, this body of Brother B. walks into a portal that appears between the two pieces of the fallen leader of the Grim Legion, and dissapears.

The 'Knights' also find a large group of men who have charms that look like eyes around thier necks. It is learned that this new group is from Krattus, and solgiers of Garlthig One Eye. The 'Knights' head off with Garlthig's group to Krattus. An the way to Krattus, the 'Knights' fight a group of men who are also from Krattus, but not of Garlthigs group. Most of the solgiers of Garlthig die, and some of the attackers are taken prisoner by the 'Knights'. The group that attacked the 'Knights' turns out to be a group of The Grim Legions from Krattus that were told that the 'Knights of the Weeping Veil', were horror marked and coming to Krattus to destroy it. The 'Knights' take them with them to Krattus.

Krattus---

In Krattus, the group is met by more Garlthig's solgiers, and led to an audience with him. The group finds out that over two months ago, this Brother B. had come into town, and taken over as a lieutenant in Garlthig's forces. The 'Knights' re-assure Garlthig that Brother b. is a Horror himself, and that they have come to destroy him. Garlthig also says that there is a large condemed castle that has recently began to harbor some notice. Some of his men have been attacked near the castle by the dead. No doubt the work of Har Garal. The 'Knights' set up a rumor that they are going to go to the old temple of garlan and perform some ritual to kill the Horror.....of course, Gram explains in his journal that this is just a ruse to get Har Garal out of hiding. It is rumored, that Har Garal is inside this one particular palace at one end of town. The Palace has been condemned for years, and no one has ever gone in far, and come out. They say that it is haunted. The 'Knights' believe that Har Garal is inside gathering a legion of dead to wreak havok, and possibly to open a gate for his master, 'The Screaming god' to enter Barsaive. On the route to the temple where the 'Knights' are supposed to be performing this ritual, Har Garal opens a portal on the street and steps out, blocking the path of the 'Knights' to the temple. Gram explains in the journal a ritual of binding that he performs on Har Garal. He yells out the horror's name, and recites a small poem, then he hands the sceptar with the ball on the end to Cyrix, and Cyrix wallops the Horror, causing a wound. Then, all the 'Knights' shoot, hit, cast, and otherwise demolish Har Garal and the minions of dead he brought with him. At one point, Har Garal is shot with an arrow by flint into his eye. As his head is enveloped in fire, he falls backward into the portal.

The 'Knights' find Brother B's body on the other side of the portal. They also find Zandimar down in the depths of the palace. Gram notes some artifacts that they find down in the underground of the palace:

    A small totem - which later we find is a spirit totem.  It                           
                    supposedly holds some spirits in it.
    A small box - later found to be a transportation device.

Almost all of the belongings of the 'Knights' that were unknowns were left back in Travar. A merchant in Travar was to perform research on the items, and the 'Knights' were to perform a service for him. They were to travel to a place called 'Culven's Ride' somewhere near the twilight peaks and find a certain cave where there was writing. Then, the group was to copy down the writing and return to Travar. The group was to learn the whereabouts of the cave through another merchant working for the merchant in Travar.
