GOVERNOR OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY:
To all to whom these presents shall come, Greeting:

KNOW YE, That by virtue and in consideration of part of a wit from the Madison
County Court, there is granted by the said Commonwealth, unto Abner Williams



a certain tract or parcel of Land, containing         fifty Acres, by
survey, bearing date the 23d     day of February     one thousand eight hundred
and forty four           lying and being in the County of Madison on the waters of
Big Clover Creek and bounded as followeth to wit Beginning at a Golden ___ white oak one marked at craw at corner to 50 acres made for John B. Harrison also at corner to 50 acres made for William Peters with Peters lines now said Williams N5W40 poles to a Stake corner gone thence N2E113 poles to a stake thence N70E40 poles to a hickory at corner to 50 acres made in the name of Shelton Brockman thence with at line of the Same __75W130 poles to a Spanish oak and chesnut trees at corner to said 50 acres and corner to a 100 acres survey for Reason Baker thence now lines S15E90 poles to a stake in a line of 50 acres made in the name of Nancy Giles with her line E50poles to a stake her corner with two more of her lines S100 poles to two dogwoods S41W24 poles to a white oak her corner also at corner to 50 acres made for Ambrose Brockman with his line S27E100 poles to a white oak his corner and corner to said Harrison with Harrison line N57W92 poles to the Beginning






With its appurtienances: To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of Land, with its appurtenances, to the said
Abner Williams




and his heirs forever.
