In the name of God Amen.  I Abner G. Williams being of sound and desposing mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this life do make and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form following:

Item First.- After death I desire that my remains be laid away in a common decent manner

Item Second.- After the dower shall have been allotted To my wife out of my real and personal estate, I will that the remainder (both real and personal) besold to the hiest bidder best bidder and that my funeral expences and all my just debts be paid

Item Third.- As I have heretofore given unto Margaret Smith, Jane Witt, and Patsy Martin the sum of one hundred and twenty each, I therefore request that all of the rest of my children be made equal with the aforesaid Margaret Smith, Jane Witt, and Patsy Martin, and the remainder (if any) to be equally divided between all of my children, to wit Margaret Smith, Jane Witt, Patsy Martin, Susan Jones, Rhoda Smith, Joseph Williams, Mary Williams, Sally Williams, Silas Williams, and Samuel Williams.

Item Fourth.- I desire that after the death of my wife Nancy V. Williams, the dower also be sold to the highest and best bidder and divided as aforesaid specified between the aforesaid heirs

Item Fifth.- I hereby appoint my friend Green V. Holland executor of this my last will and testimony hereby revoking all others heretofore made by me.
Witness my hand and seal, this the 11th day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy one (1871)

Williams was on the 3rd of July 1871 produced first and proven and having lain over one month for exceptions none having been made or taken same was confirmed by the Court and ordered to record which is done this 2nd day January 1872
