GOVERNOR OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY:
To all to whom these presents shall come, Greeting:

KNOW YE, That by virtue and in consideration of an order from the Madison
County Court, there is granted by the said Commonwealth, unto William and Abner G. Williams



a certain tract or parcel of Land, containing twenty        Acres, by
survey, bearing date the 22d     day of February     one thousand eight hundred
and thirty seven            lying and being in the County of Madison on Big Clover
Creek including the house where John Hudson now lives Beginning at a dead white oak corner to John Hudsons 50 Acres with a line of the same S24W30 poles to a white oak Spanish oak and dogwood Shelton Brockmans corner with his line N50 West at 38 poles said creek in all 68 poles to two black gums and two dogwoods on a point Still with Brockmans N35W30 poles to a hickory white oak and dogwood thence with a line of a 50 acres Survey made in the name of John Wilson N70E55 poles to a red oak and hickory stumps at corner of J Hudsons 50 Acres with a line of the same S72E25 poles to his corner at stake thence with another line of said 50 acres S8 West 65 poles to the Beginning






With its appurtienances: To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of Land, with its appurtenances, to the said
William and Abner G. Williams




and their heirs forever.


IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The said James Clark Esq.
Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, hath hereunto set his hand, and caused the seal
of the Commonwealth to be affixed, at Frankfort, on the 26th
day of September in the year of our Lord, on thousand eight
hundred thirty Eight and of the Commonweath the forty seventh
