Well, Steve returned from LA without a scratch!... And a whole lot of stories. While attending ACTORFEST, he was privy to attend seminars with top notch casting directors (Pam Dixon, Dino Ladki), and meet with some of the most popular acting coaches (Margie Haber- yes, he bought AND READ her book), and was introduced to some of the most interesting talent from "The Other Coast". With no doubt, ACTORFEST was a conglomerate of fresh talent - so thumbs high for Backstage West for getting everyone together!

While in Hollywood, Steve managed to get into a class/workshop taught by Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Mala Powers - "Empowering the Actor" (and yes, he bought AND READ her first "complete" edition to Michael Chekhov's acting technique)...."She (Mala Powers) is a definite inspiration, and I look forward to seeing and working with her soon!" Steve also attended cold reading seminars at AIA Studios, Celebrity Centre, as well as many others.

Steve's next venture is to perform with "The Misplaced Comedy Group" while writing a comedic screenplay, with fellow MCG performer Jeff Prekop, based on the recent trip to LA.
