Blessings
Blessings resemble faeries in a sense, but in a way, they are complete opposites. These creatures are not like preservers; they do not talk the same way or relate to the elves the same way.
Blessings are capable of the ugliest, twisted forms imaginable, and on the contrary, they can come in the shapes of beautiful, elegant creatures. Most have wings, though there are exceptions. Their personalities vary, from comical and droll, to serious and wise. They are here to wish the elves good luck, or to give or "bless" them with something, whether it be a child or a soulname. They also protect the lone one, Amarul.
It is possible for any elf to talk and see the Blessings, so long as they simply believe in their very existence (which all of them do). Every elf in Graceful Claim Holt does however, for there has been at least one time in their life where they have encountered the creatures. Cubs and magic users are more liable to see the Blessings however, for it is they who have been truly blessed.
The Blessings will visit you during the time of your birth or your child's, when you receive your soulname, Recognition and your death. During the time of your death, they will gather to give their final blessings to send you to the Greater Spirits beyond.
When they're not taunting the unicorns or gullible cubs, they are often found lazily resting in the shade of their hollow oak tree, its whereabouts unknown to all but Amarul.
