In the forests of Libet, lies a Holt unlike many others. It is a peaceful place, surrounded by lush, fruit-bearing trees and flowing rivers that lead to lakes more blue than the open skies. Frost can never set foot on this fertile land, for it is one creature that keeps the grounds and chooses the time for life and death. She is a creature of purity and of innocence, untouched and rarely seen - a unicorn. Her name is Amarul, keeper of Graceful Claim Holt.

The immortal elven people that inhabit the land have learned to bond with the unicorns in descendance of Amarul, though they have lost their magical powers and are mortal. These unicorns have learned to adapt to the feeling of regret and sorrow, and innocence is merely a piece of the past...

The chief's lock is now in the hands of Lerae, who intends to keep the peacefulness of Graceful Claim alive. A dark and unforgettable magic is soon to be upon them, and in order to save their people, certain sacrifices will have to be made...
