Finding the belief in God difficult
He has denied God's very existence And with the denial Lost every idea But "the survival of the fittest" And high flown words About the "dignity of man" That actually stemmed from a belief in the creation Of man in His image. And instead of being grateful to those Who can truly believe, We laugh at their "simplicity" And feel superior In our cynical wisdom. Having once "created God" We then proceeded to Destroy Him. |
