I was born in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York

Although I maintain fond memories of the locale and remember the excitement of going to the playground and sometimes playing with individuals who I didn't even know...I can visualize some of the challenges for self-preservation at playtime in the 'yard'-- but such was life in the 'big city' I suppose. I can remember the look of torment on my parent's faces as I would venture up to the very top story of the apartment building where we lived and get a wonderous view of the entire surrounds (presently referred to as the 'projects'). Looking back I don't think I would be able to accomplish such a feat in the present time.
My parents then packed up the family and we moved to Croton-on-Hudson, New York http://village.croton-on-hudson.ny.us/ in the mid-fifties. What a scenic location to have lived during my formative years. I can especially bring to mind the view which I had from my bedroom window of the Hudson River. I truly believe that because of this visual which stays with me, that any type of water bodies, seems to bring a revitalization to my being. I completed grade school and high school during my residency there and upon graduation from H.S. I then moved to Olean, New York http://www.cityofolean.com/ where I earned a B.A. degree in Sociology from St. Bonaventure University

Upon graduation from St. Bonaventure University I relocated to Missoula, Montana http://www.montana.com/missoula/ where I continue to refer to the region as 'God's Country'. It had to be one of the most beautiful areas that I have ever lived. My heart remains in the Big Sky Country with hopes of someday visiting the birthplace of both of my sons and re-visiting the beauty that I can remember when looking out any window seeing the vast horizon of mountainous outline.
From Montana I relocated to a town named Towson, Maryland http://www.charm.net/~hti/index.html, a city of northern Maryland which is a residential and industrial suburb of Baltimore with a population, 49,445.
After discovering that Maryland was just not the demographic area that my roots were accustomed to, I then decided, after some 20 odd years, to up and move to a location that became 'home' for me. I ventured to a city in Maine called Westbrook http://www.westbrookchamber.nu/ where I found myself living life again to the fullest as I once did in years past prior to my move to Baltimore. It was in Westbrook, Maine where I looked forward to waking up in the morning again, whether it be for work or play. I had found the perfect spot that I could genuinely say to myself, "Maine the Way Life Should Be."
