Shead High School

Shead High School S head High School is located on 89 High Street in Eastport, Maine. Less than 200 students attend the school from Eastport, Pleasant Point, Perry, Pembroke, and Dennysville.

Originally called "Shead Memorial High School", the school was named in honor of Mr. Jessie Shead - a prominent Eastport resident during the 19th century. The present building was constructed adjacent to the previous school in 1982 and retained the name "Shead" minus the memorial distinction.

C hris & I attended attended Shead, 1986-1990 and 1987-1991 respectively. Some of the friends we made there are still in contact with us today. Times have changed. 10 years ago we were high school sweethearts, now we are married raising a family.
