ARBOREA --CHAOTIC GOOD

Gate-town: Sylvania. It's a burg for all the party-loving travelers. There are many taverns, but beware! A lot of cony-catchers are waiting to peel and bob the unwary berks. The gate: it floats invisible in the woods surrounding Sylvania, so it may be difficult to find it. It would be easier wandering about the forests suddenly find yourself on Arborea.

This chaotic plane insn't a realm of destruction and disharmony, but a place of personal freedom, independence and individuality. It's a place of goodness as much as chaos. It's a land of huge trees, impossibly deep chasms, unimaginably dense forests and mountains taller than any prime could imagine.

The passionate inhabitants play hard, fight hard, live hard and love hard. If these bashers hate a body, she's really in trouble, but if Arboreans take a shine to her, she's got it made.

Arborea has three layers: Olympus, Ossa and Pelion. Olympus is named for the main feature of the terrain, the weel-known Mount Olympus, which serves as a home for the Greek powers and also connect a number of other planes in a vast planar pathway. This layer also holds the elven realm of Arvandor. The elven powers are a very reclusive lot, so the Greek powers and the elves don't associate very much. All kinds of nature spirits, sylphs, satyrs, cyclopes, giants, titans and other creatures often regarded as legendary on the Prime also inhabit this layer.

The second layer, Ossa, is a huge but shallow sea, called Aquallor by the elves. It's the endpoint of the River Oceanus, which begins in the layer of Thalasya in Elysium. Sea elves and all manner of aquatic creatures dwell here.

Pelion blows white with sand and snow. It's named Mithardir by the elves, who tell visitors that the name means "white dust". Curious bashers might want to explore this place looking for clues and possibly even treasures left by the departed powers.
