Grade One - North Carolina

Dear First Graders,

Hi! We are in Raleigh, NC. Raleigh is our state's capital. The circus and the Fair are held here. Our class has 27 students. We have 13 boys and 14 girls in our class.. We are learning about Winter and soon we will be learning about penguins too. Maybe you could tell us something that you learned about them. We have been writing stories all year. We are starting to get pretty good at it. Almost everyone in our class has lost a tooth. We are excited to keep track of our lost teeth. Sometimes our class gets pretty silly. Do you? We love to read Mrs. McCallen's joke books. We have been doing graphs a lot. We will be graphing all our tooth tally stuff too. We hope you have a great weekend! We'll write to you again soon.
