The Grade One classes are studying Structures and mechanisms. We are looking at shapes and patterns in both human-made and natural structures. The children are experimenting with various materials to create their own structures.

This challenge was to use one piece of paper to support as many books as possible.

Kaitlyn was able to support several books by using a zig-zag fold.

Jennie was amazed to see her structure support 7 books!
