OK, I guess this is where I should write a bit about myself.....

um....

Well, I'm 26 years old, I'm currently (until September 2003) completing my MSc in Applied Computing at Dundee University. Before that, I worked in Edinburgh for an PKF, an accountancy firm, and I had three groovy years there - however, the lure of HTTP, ASP, Java, C++ etc. enticed me back to Dundee to become a student once again. I also completed my BA (Hons) in Accountancy at Abertay University back in 1998.

Outside of university/working life, I'm a keen musician with my own bedroom studio (listen to some of my work at my music section, and I'm a member of the Musicians' Union. Most people I know are sick of my daft jokes too. For example, I went to a watch shop to buy a watch the other day. I said "I'd like to buy a watch." The assistant asked "Analogue?". I replied, "No, just a watch.". This particular classic is by Tim Vine, a Tommy Cooper-esque genius. I'm also a fan of the jokes/TV shows of Dave Gorman and Ross Noble, the latter of whose shows was one of the best at last years Edinburgh Festival, and one which I managed to catch.

I'm also a massive footie fan, particularly of the mighty Glasgow Rangers, but I'm known to go and watch my local club Arbroath from time to time. I also keep a look out for the scores of my local home town club, Carnoustie Panmure (managed by ex-Dundee & sometimes Scotland squad goalie, Bobby Geddes). Back to music, I don't really listen to much any more, although I try to listen out for Crowded House, even though they've split up, but I've recently got into stuff by Coldplay and David Gray. I'm not much of a Pop Idol fan, probably out of pure jealousy that I can't get my hair to spike like Gareth Gates.

Anyway, enough of me, hope you like the site.
