Judge's commentary
1. What did you like about the book?
A top entry! It's a great little book that delivers on its promises. LOVE the tone! I think it'll put both new and seasoned writers' minds at ease. Very encouraging! The author knows what he's doing and does it well. I love the subheadings that break up the text, the quotes, but more than anything the "straight from the heart" advice. This was an outstanding work among the entries I judged, and that's saying something because I had quite a few excellent books this year.
2. How can the author improve this book?
I can't think of a single suggestion.
3. How can the author better market this book?
I suspect a writer THIS professional has covered his bases already. I had no trouble locating it on the Web by typing in the title. As an accomplished writer, he has a platform from which to speak and hopefully is doing just that. He could benefit from marketing and distribution systems of a traditional publisher, and the book certainly should be able to attract a traditional publisher, so I'm guessing the author has chosen not go that route. He'll do well anyway, though.
