Again today I heard a talk show host on television use the phrase "graduate high school". How does one graduate a high school? Shouldn't it be "graduate from high school"?

Yes it should. Ninety-three percent of the American Heritage Dictionary Usage Panel considered, "She graduated college" unacceptable.
