Q. Can you kindly explain the difference between a direct and an indirect object?
Is 'me' direct or indirect object?

A. The direct object is the person or thing directly affected by the action of a verb. The indirect object is the person or thing indirectly affected by the verb's action.

My brother lent me some money. The direct object is "money." The indirect object is "me."

"Me" can be a direct object in other sentences: My brother loves me. In that sentence "me" is the direct object.
