Numbers
Spell out numbers one through ten. Numbers over ten can be written in Arabic numbers. However, do not use Arabic numbers at the beginning of a sentence. Use Arabic numbers for dates, street numbers, page numbers, with a.m. or p.m. and with percentages.
In three more days the vacation will be over.
The committee interviewed 23 job applicants.
Twenty-three candidates applied for the job.
He first saw her on September 19, 1996.
