Q. What is the rule of taking D in for example a one eyed girl or heavy_shouldered man? and under what title should be discussed?
A. Words like these are past participles, verb forms used as adjectives. They should always end with a -d. Often in speaking the final -d gets lost, and people then sometimes incorrectly leave the final -d out of the spelling.
