OBITUARY: "DONALD ALLMAN... Eldon - Donald J. Allman 74 of Eldon died at 5a.m. Nov. 4, 1989 at Jefferson Co. Hospital in Fairfield. He was born July23, 1915 in Eldon to Thomas and Clella Sellers Allman. He married Phyllis Lynch on June 18,
1947, in Ottumwa. He lived most of his life in the Eldon area and was a 1933 graduate of Eldon High School. He worked at Reliance Improvement Center in Moline, Ill.for five years and was a self-employed mason. He was a veteran of World War
II, serving in Europe. He was a former member of Amvets. He is survived by his wife; seven daughters, Cindy Johnson, Donna Jeffrey, Susan Dee, Diana Snyder, Sherri Moore of Eldon, Terri Griner of Agency and Peggy Miller of Rock Island, Ill.;
two sons, Tommy and Danny of Eldon; 11grandchildren; and three brothers, Ken and Fred of Eldon and Richard of Rock Island. He was preceded in death by his parents. The service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Kremer Funeral Home in Eldon, the
Rev. L.R. Donogo of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Eldon Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. today. Family visitation will be 7 to 8p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Eldon Rescue Unit or
Cardinal Athletic Club. Pallbearers will be Darrin Jeffrey, Jason Snyder, Toby Johnson, Stevie Dee, Tommy Dee, Scott Miller and Tyler Greiner. Honorary pallbearers will be Christy Johnson, Wendy Miller, Darci Jeffrey and Jennifer Snyder."
