OBITUARY: "W.R. LYNCH...Eldon - W.R. Lynch, 83, resident of Eldon and vicinity all his life, died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at his home in Eldon after being in poor health several months and critically ill a week. His wife, the former Miss
Madorah McClure, died December 14, 1938. He leaves three sons, Henry and Frank of Eldon and Edward of Bloomfield; seven daughters, Mrs. Ruth Quigley, and Mrs. Martha Fane of Newton, Mrs. Lena Thomas, Mrs. Goldie McCauley and Mrs. Anna Shaffer,
all of Eldon, and Mrs. Fay Moraine and Mrs. Sylvia Burton of Ottumwa; 34 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. One son, a daughter, four sisters and a brother are dead. Funeral services will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Campbell funeral
home in Eldon, in charge of Rev. E.M. Gregson. Burial will be in Eldon cemetery.The body is at the funeral home."
