OBITUARY: "JACK LYNCH...Eldon - Henry W. (Jack) Lynch, 72, died at his home in Eldon at 4:30 a.m. today. He had been in poor health more than a year. He was born July 3, 1883, in Davis County, the son of Riley and Madora McClure Lynch, and
had lived in Davis and Wapello Counties all of his life. He was married December 23, 1903, to Eva Garrett, who survives. He engaged in farming and construction work and had lived in Eldon 15 years. Surviving besides his wife are five
daughters, Mrs. Agnes Bell of Kohoka,Mo., Mrs. Laverne Wright of St. Charles, IA., and Mrs. Delphia Greenland, Mrs. Margaret Hemm, and Mrs. Phyllis Allman of Eldon; a son Lloyd Lynch of Bushnell, Ill; 15 grandchildren and nine great
grandchildren. He also leaves two brothers, Ed Lynch of Bloomfield and Frank of Eldon, and six sisters, Mrs. Ruth Quigley of Prairie City, and Mrs. Mattie Fane of Newton, Mrs. Annie Shaffer and Mrs. Faye Moraine of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Goldie
Spencer of Colorado Springs and Mrs. Sylvia Burden of Waterloo. A son and daughter, 2 sisters, and a brother preceded him in death. The funeral will be Wenesday at 2 p.m. at the Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon."
