Henry O. M. Winton was born in November 1899 in Arkansas. Henry married Blanche Viola Heaslet. Blanche Viola was born in 1904. Her parents were Abraham "Abe" Lincoln Heaslet and Mary "Molly" Little.

It is believed that Henry and Blanche had seven children. Four of them are listed below:

1. Marcus Winton...born 1923. Died February 16, 1945 in Corregidor Island, Philippines.(see below) He was killed in action on February 16, 1945 during the World War II battle to recapture Corregidor Island, Philippines. PFC Marcus Winton was a paratrooper with the 462nd Parachute Field Artillery Battalion (D Btry).

2. Gladys Evylin Winton...born 1925.

3. Nina Lee Winton...born 1926.

4. Donald Wayne Winton...born 1928.
