Wargaming in 6mm
6mm figures are one of the smaller scales of figures (the smallest are the 2mm figures produced by Irregular Miniatures). They can be used to give the impression of 'mass' to many ancient rulesets or modern rulesets. They can also allow the player to indulge in larger scale conflicts that 10/15/20/25/28mm (or larger) figures may not allow.
I use 6mm figures for wargaming in the ancient world and for a sci-fi wargame called 'Epic: Armageddon'. Epic is a fantastic game by Games Workshop (I think it is their best game.) For wargaming the ancient world I have collections of Heroics & Ros figures from NavWar (UK) and from Irregular Miniatures (UK). I hope to add some Baccus 6mm figures at Salute 2005 as they look nice as well.
