| Brainpower (Gert-Jan Mulder, Antwerpen, 1975) began listining to hiphop when he was about ten years old. Not much later he started writing, first in English. Since 1989 he's also writing in Dutch. In 1998 Brainpower won "de Grote Prijs van Nederland" in the catagory R&B/ Hip Hop. He also won the Award for the best rapper. The same year Brainpower features on the album of Extince and performes a lot on big festivals. Last year he was asked to feature on "Als Niet Als" of "Doe Maar". His debut album also dropped later that year, which is called "Door Merg & Brain". |
