UPSET BOARD AND PROPERTY MANAGER DEMANDS $400

After voicing disagreement with the Board's decision in a meeting on May 30, 2002 and after requesting to review the Official Records of the Condominium, the coordinator of the Special Action Committee, Eduardo Hernandez, received a letter from the Board and Property Manager demanding payment of $400.  A similar letter was sent to other property owners who have also expressed their disagreement.  (See "Other Property Owners Are Threatened with Letters".)  The letter indicates of an alleged discrepancy, however, upon telephone and written contact with Helio De La Torre, Esq. and Tower Management, there has not been any information provided to explain this alleged discrepancy from 1998.  Additionally, the Board and Property Manager are unable to explain the reason why only those who disagree with the Board of Director's recent decision are receiving these letters.  If you have received a similar notice or if  you are being threatened by the Board or Property Manager for any reason, please email us at:  complaints@grandvistacondo.com.  Please include your contact information, such as your name and telephone number.  You may also contact the Bureau of Condominiums at 1-800-226-9101 or the police at (305) 558-3333.

If you examine the letter below, the text: "We have informed the Board of directors of the action we must follow and they agree..." seems to indicate that the letter was written by the Property Manager, Tower Management Services Inc., since obviously the Board of Directors would not inform themselves ("the Board of Directors").  The envelope containing the letter was from Tower Management.
